fattyz28 05-07-2007, 10:36 PM I need to sell my 94 Z28 I don't want to give it away, but I don't want to unload it. With the mods in my signature what would you say is fair? It has 169k miles.
Things not listed are T-Tops, new bushings, shocks, LT4 knock module, Z28 style magnaflow tips, Z06 style Z28 emblems, MSD opti, Alpine head unit, 3-way Kenwood excelon's in the door, 2-way Alpine's in the back, kicker amp, wired for subs, tinted windows, Z28 floor mats, a console that is not broke, seats in good shape (one little burn hole in backseat).
Schultz454 05-07-2007, 10:54 PM With your miles, paint and interior condition is gonna make the huge difference here. If its a really clean garaged car, I could see it easily taking $7000-$7500. If it isn't clean, that price could drop dramatically. Post some pics so people can get a little better idea.
Its easy to find a modded F-Body in ok condition. However its getting harder and harder to find a really clean and shiny F-body.
fattyz28 05-07-2007, 10:57 PM I have to get my hood painted which will be done before I sell it. The paint is pretty good I think except for the front bumper (clear coat peeling) I may paint it also. I will try to get some pics.

sorry to burst your bubble, but you will never get 7000 for that car unless it is completely spotless, with a newer engine/trans. z28's with 110k are going for 3000-3500. esp autos.
Schultz454 05-08-2007, 01:31 AM its not an Auto, and thats why i said, if its not real clean, the price could drop dramatically. (keyword)
and if the paint is peeling as you said, then its not a good sign, most likely will drop its worth way down, probably below $5,000
MeanGreen97Z 05-08-2007, 03:41 AM With 169k that car will pull about 4 grand.
FutureZMan 05-08-2007, 06:20 AM With 169k that car will pull about 4 grand.
3500 - 4000 i agree.
sounds nice btw.
fattyz28 06-05-2007, 12:08 AM Well a month later i have a couple of pictures. The car is filthy but I think you guys get the point. If you have time check it out.

PS it's for sale
Schultz454 06-05-2007, 12:49 PM the hood not being painted is gonna make the value suffer
cmking26 06-05-2007, 04:05 PM $3500, those miles are gonna kill ya.
Rising Phoenix 06-05-2007, 04:40 PM I would say about 4-4200. It's a 6-speed / t-tops car (huge plus) and it's quasar blue, which is one of the rarest colors, and a lot of people like it. I paid $4500 for mine with 134k on it. The difference with mine is that it was completely stock, but in some people's books that can actually be a better thing. Also mine has the vented opti which is nice, but only those who know about that are going to care.
fattyz28 06-05-2007, 05:41 PM I paid $5200 for it with 151k on it, because I wanted it. I knew it was taken care of. I have had it for almost 4 years.
Schultz454 06-05-2007, 08:22 PM $5,200 WITH 151,000 MILES!?!?!?!
Dude?......
98BackinBlack 06-05-2007, 11:28 PM I would suggest that you get the hood painted before you sell it. The money you spend on even a bad paint job would be worth it. I would say about 70% of people wouldn't even consider buying it because of the hood. Just my two cents...
