SLP Shorty Headers Discontinued...!?AdsoYo 03-31-2007, 01:09 AM Lately I've been shopping around for SLP-30015C, coated 1 3/4" shorty headers for 1993-95 Camaro/Firebird (1-Cat w/AIR) and every place I try cancels my order saying SLP has discontinued these. I became concerned when SLP didn't offer them on their site anymore and went on a frantic hunt which so far has been unsuccessful. Afterthoughtsauto is my last hope. Why SLP!? WHY!? exgmguy 03-31-2007, 08:50 AM I have SLP shorties and plug access is not so good. I ended up putting the wires over the valve covers and adding heat sleeves to the boots after burning 2 wires. I am coming from 5.0L Mustangs though, where you can swap plugs in 10 minutes with your eyes closed. :) WestCoast96Z28 04-01-2007, 12:19 PM Have you tried out supporting vendors? They're are other "smog legal" shorties...JBA, BBK. I have the SLPs, b/c I live in CA (smog sucks) and got a good deal on them used. Just keep your options open. Else, you could check if used ones come up for sale on this board....they also seem to every few months. | ||
