Someone Please come here. You all have confused me bigtime!

A thread was started with a kid talking about his supercharger and he was making veerything up. Well everyone started making fun of him because he said he was running LTs with SLP Ypipe. And everyone call bs and laughed. What is the problem?? Did I miss something?? I am running LTs with a SLP Y pipe. It came with my SLP LTs. I am so confused

Don't remember that. But I don't think you'll find much use for the Y-pipe with the LTs. Get the I - pipe.

The SLP LT's and the y-pipe that came with it will work just fine, if you're happy with the performance you're getting then why fool around with it?

EDIT AGAIN: Actually I don't think I misread this considering your other post. YOU WILL STILL HAVE A YPIPE UNLESS YOU GO CUSTOM X OR H PIPE.

EDIT: misread your post sorry. The I-pipe is the pipe right after the y-pipe thats shaped like an I. All catback systems come with it and I don't believe SLP sells it by itself.

As to his post. SLP offers a lager ypipe for stock manifolds. Thats what he was talking about. There is no reason to say "I am running SLP LT's with the SLP ypipe". Because you should get the ypipe that is designed for the LT's you bought or again go custom.

OHHHHH Ok now I got ya. It just confused me because everyone was making fun of him for running a y pipe with LTs, and since I am and I know lots of people are it just confused me. But now I relized that I just didn't understand the content of the posts like everyone else. Thanks for clearing my confusion! Zoran

everyone has a y pipe in ls1's, unless they fabricated some kind of true dual exhaust. How the hell else would it get from the 2 collecters into one pipe. Hence the y-pipe name. If you look at stock ls1's the y pipe (not including the cats) the side under the drivers side is smashed to save space. Well slp makes one that is not smashed. This is for the stock manifolds, not lt's.
