New stock front shocks with 1LE rear shocks ok??

hey guys.
i have a '95 z28 with chrome Z06 wheels with 275/40 rubber all the way around, and Eibach pro-kit springs. i will be going with the full DMS suspension in a month or two.
my question is: i have new front Z28 shocks, and need to get new rear ones as well. i called jason chromer @ sam taylor chevy and the 1LE rear shocks are only $10 more each than the stock Z28 shocks. can anyone tell me the pros/cons of running this 1LE shock (which i assume is stiffer) in the rear with stock shocks up front? will it throw off the balace of the car? etc? thanks!

I am new at this myself, but have been doing A TON of research so I will start. The word I hear is that stock shocks are HORRIBLE with the Eibach Pro Kit. Most have at least gone with Bilstein HD's off the shelf, but "the pros" like Sam Strano say even these shocks are not sufficient and recommend having the HD's revalved to support the Eibach's. A complete set of these is around $480.

See stranoparts.com, he has a message board there where this is discussed A LOT!

Hope this helps,

Randy

There are 2 kinds of 1LE shocks, DeCarbon which are not revalvable or adjustable, and the Koni DA which came later.
