So who is working on their cars this week??

Me.

First thing is to clean up all the spilled kitty litter that I had to toss under the car due to the oil leak. It's been so long since I last ran the engine that when I went to prelube the engine, I forgot that the oil filter was missing for the header installation last fall! Ya...no oil pressure but lots of oil....

So now I've got the starter reinstalled in its new position (due to the long tube header upgrade) and I think I'll go out there, clean up the kitty litter, put a new filter onto the block and reattempt the prelube so that I can button up the motor's covers, clock it to TDC and reinstall the distributor. That ought to be a pretty good start at getting ready for spring, eh??

I've been doing a lot of work to my daily driver, buying that garage heater is really paying off.

What kind of seats?

I want to get some good racing seats for summer 2008. I need to start planning now though.

I'm just about done with my big block swap. Have to install the interior, shifter and driveshaft and then it's ready for the road.

I missed all of last summer with my baby because of this swap so I can't wait to get it back and just sit in it and drive it down the road, even when I'm not getting on it!

Lets call them Sparco knock offs.
Been having a helluva time getting them exactly the way I want.
I can forward pics if you like.

I've been plugging away on a nitrous install for about a week now, off and on when i get time. Once I get that wrapped up I might syphon the tank and install a Walbro 255 or just wait until spring burn the tank of gas then do it in warmer weather.

Got the cage done, 10 pt. Mini tub is done.. I just spent the morning trimming pannels and trying to fit everything back together. Not going as smooth as I thought, and not looking the way I want it too. Still have to paint the cage, then start on fitting the bigger wheels... So much more to do.
