could this been the pressure plate or clutch ?

94 camaro new 355 with a spec stage 3 with about 9000 miles on the clutch. The clutch was been balanced with the new motor and the motor has 4000 miles on it.

would a bad pressure plate or clutch cause these problems?

start car you hear a nasty scarping noise for about 2 sec when goes away(clutch pushed in)?

Somtimes start car and the car lungs forward if you leave it in gear while starting ???

starting car them trying to put in gear both will not go in to any gears. But will make a clucken noise the will be total fine.?

The weired one is sometimes the clutch will engauge really far down in the ped throw. Compared to normal real high in the throw with only about two inchs of disengaugement. that will last for a while the it will switch back to normal???

Then finally a nasty vibration that starts a 3800 to 6000 , will go away if you press the clutch in and out really quick. and be fine till the next gear?

Im not sure what to do guys so any help would be great! thanxs?

i had some of these problems...along with a squeaking pedal, and aloooooot of chattering...(i have the stg 2)...all of a sudden it barely came out of 4th gear, then would not restart or go into gear, and clutch wouldnt move...my mechanic says the clutch was installed with the wrong bearing, which caused it to destroy a bunch of stuff in there...only had 7xxx miles on my clutch/engine too...not saying this is your problem, but ya might want to check into it..
