Need Help w/ spark plug removal...

My '98 V6 has been diagnosed w/ a cylinder 6 misfire...its a hit or miss problem, sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesnt...

People on this board in another section said that is most likely the spark plug wires/spark plugs. So, little 'ol me decided that I could most likely do it myself. Holy balls was I wrong, i can't see how they get to these darn spark plugs!!!

So, if there is a DETAILED write up somewhere on how to change out 3800 series II spark plugs I am all ears...I started, but had to quit and decided to do more research, and if I can't find a detailed enough write up on it, i'm just going to take it somewhere, which we all know I really don't want to have to do...I have until wednesday to get it all done, because that is my last day off before school starts back up.

If you guys can help in anyway, I thank you. I'm asking here first, but i will be doing my own digging up, of course, thought maybe someone here would have it on hand.

they need to be done from under the car

I'd do plugs and wires, and if it still does it, you need a coil pack(bad wires can kill a coil)

i tried from under the car too, and after 3 hours of attempting to jsut GET at the damn things, i thought i was just missing 1 small idea to get at them..

Actually, I'd just test the coil (whatever values the Haynes/Chiltons gives for it would be nice to know) and eliminate the problem before all that work.

..or swap coils and see if the misfire follows a certain coil.
