more fuel questions

ok it quit raining so i got to go out and take a look at the pressure a little closer. right now i'm seeing 43.5 running with the vacume line off the regulator, around 38 or so with the line on. car not running i see 43.5 while the pump is pumping, then drops to 38 or so when it shuts off. just did this so i'm gonna go check on it every half our to see what it does and will post updates as i do. does this sound about right? the car runs good, just had some problems the other day, had the key on for a while working on something else and the car was very flooded when i tried to start it the next morning. there is no signs of fuel coming out the regulator either so i'm pretty sure that it's good. looking like a couple bad injectors but not sure yet. don't wanna pull the old ones till i have some new ones to put in there just in case i break one while i'm working on it cause it's my only car for the moment. thanks in advance of any advise.

1st reading 1/2 hour less than 2lb drop.... i can't figure this out. the car was so flooded that the plugs i pulled would drip gas. there has to be something allowing gas to get by, but it seems that whatever it was should have allowed more leakdown than that. the only thing i can see different is that the pump isn't on right now. i also have also noticed that it's been harder to start in the morning, could it be leaking very slowly but drippin raw gas into the intake and flooding it out?

The fuel pump check valve is resposible for keeping pressure at the rail for vehicle startup. If you have an injector(s) that are leaking, this will pull the pressure at the rail down where it can make starting up more difficult.
