i work at the freightliner plant and can get turbos from them with employee discount ....is it possible to run a turbo off of a diesel engine ....is it too much power or not enough or what?

most turbos are designed for certain applications. i would recommend getting some corky bell books(turbocharging and supercharged)and do some reading. the employee discount would still not be enough to justify getting the wrong turbo.

Some work great, some don't. Search or just read up on the turbomustangs.com/smf web site. Those guys use alot of diesel turbo's. Check in the DIY page.
