Converted A4 to M6, but now I want reverse lights...

I swapped my A4 for an M6 back in 2001, but I never wired up the reverse lights, mostly because I didn't really have a clue a to what all needed to be done to accomplish this. My car still has an Auto wiring harness, so short of wiring the reverse lights to a rocker switch, I have no clue as to how I'd go about splicing these wires into the factory harness. Any help here would be greatly appreciated...

Your A4 had a reverse light switch, probably on the shifter. Extend those wires (wherever they may be) to the reverse light switch for the T56, which is on the passenger side of the trans. Its the only thing on the passenger side.

Thanks, you wouldn't happen to know what colors those wires might be or reference pictures of what the switch looks like, would you? ;)

Haha, sorry, I guess that might really help, wouldn't it?? :bang: :p

It's a 1993 Camaro Z28. Originally a 4L60, non-electronic transmission, and I converted it to a T56 transmission from a wrecked 1996 Camaro Z28.

The B/U light switch is near the front of the tranny, on the passenger side:

Sorry, maybe I didn't phrase my question specifically enough. What I was wanting to ask is what does this switch/sensor piece in the wiring harness look like? In other words, I'm looking for the place to splice the manual transmission wires into the automatic's wiring harness...
