c5 upgrade getting closer...what pads/fluid?

I recently bought a set of Bob's brackets off this board for 220 shipped and I got a smoking deal on ebay for a set of low mile c5 calipers, abutments, rubber lines AND a set of front powerslot rotors all for 200 shipped. So all I have left to buy are pads and fluid and I can get this project started. So I know I need the springs/shims so can I buy those separately and go with a set of Hawk pads? And which Hawk pads are best for street use? I dont want to chew up the rotors with some that are to abrasive. I dont care about dusting but alot of squealing irritates me. And what is the best fluid to use that is compatible with regular Dot 3 fluid...Any part numbers and places where I can buy this online would be appreciated.

I have the Hawk HPS pads on my car and like them alot. They have a ton more breaking power over stock. They dust a little more noticeably but its nothing too severe and washes off super easy. They do make noise though. Light breaking gives a good squeal. The harder you brake it does go away however.
