Concerns about stalling

Hey guys, I'm teaching my girlfriend how to drive a manual transmission. She was doing pretty well at first but is starting to struggle with getting the car under way in first gear. She's stalled the car a few times, which is normal when you're first learning, I know. I'm just wondering what kind of damage can be caused by stalling a car and how likely it is to occur. Thanks guys.

I'm just wondering because I know when the cars jerks to a stop like that, I'm thinking about my rear end and clutch and things like that.

The most damage any new driver would do to the car is grrrrrrriiiiIIIIIInnnnding the gears...

Don't worry as long as you let the car rest after a few minutes of starting and stoping to let the clutch and motor cool down it'll be ok. BTW your lettin her drive the V6 right?

Actually I'm teaching her in the Z. The clutch is much harder to get a feel for in the V-6. Also, god forbid something bad happens while she's driving, I'd rather it happen in a car that has a rattle can paint job in the front. She's doing pretty good though, just gotta get her good at first gear.
