Quiet Muffler/Exhaust Recommendations for a V6?
I am looking at replacing my stock muffler in my 1995 Chevrolet Camaro 3.4 V6. Obviously I would like a little better performance, but am not expecting much gains. The main reason I am wanting to replace the muffler is because my current muffler has a pinhole that creates an undesired sound every so often. Additionally, I like the look of dual exhaust with rectangular exhaust tips.
However, I DO NOT want my car to become extremely loud. I have to go to clients houses in various neighborhoods all the time, so too much noise would be an issue. I wouldn't mind a slightly more aggressive sound for the car, especially when I'm at higher speeds/RPMs, but I just want to make sure that I'm not going to be annoying neighborhoods with an annoyingly loud sound, driving around at around 15-45MPH.
So basically what I'm asking is....
What would be a good muffler/exhaust system to get so that I could get slightly better performance (Again, I'm not expecting much), a slightly more agreesive tone, dual outlet for dual rectangular tips, and not end up being excessively loud?

You're not talking about that hole on the passenger side of the muffler towards the front?
If noise is your primary concern I would suggest a standard OEM replacement V8 muffler. I ran with a Formula take-off muffler for years. You get a better sound and dual exhaust tips. Or you might even look for a SS/WS6 take-off muffler from one of those V8 guys.
