..do I need an edit if I go from 275 to a 285 tire?
different tires wont do a damn thang to your obd 2. If you are going from a say 275/40zr17 to a 285/40zr17 it is the same rotation amount. In other words it take the same amount of time to do a full rotation. Yet if you went to a 295/35zr17 the total tire diameter is smaller and will cuase your speedo to run different and you will put more miles on your odometer then what you actualy are. so it shouldn't do anything unless you have a differnt rim to tread size. aka the number in the middle
...thanks guys!!!
...all questions answered, thanks. Hey Chriss since were on the topic of computers, any thoughts on the predator? Do ya want to go in on one? We'll share the cost and you keep it since your the computer guy, you just once in a while tune mine. Think about it, otherwise LT1Z28 whats to go on a group LS1 edit.
Cheers...
Cheers...
I've been thinking about that... LT1Z28 had mentioned getting LS1edit.
For the Predator (Diablo), I think when it marries to a vehicle's VIN, you can't tune another car with it, even if you set your computer back to stock - not without sending it back to the manufacturer to be flashed again. You can read codes and data with it though. Have you heard that it can be more easily interchaged? I may have missed some info. I'll need to do a search.
