diablo sport rpm programer

I have 1999 camaro z28 A4 and i just recently bought a diablo sport programer . The tool lets you change your shift point at a different rpm, at WOT , any one have any ideas of what rpms would be the best to shift at for every gear ? The car is also completly stock . Since this is about a programer i wasnt shure where to post it , new to this .

Re: diablo sport rpm programer

Welcome aboard. Since you're stock I'd leave them alone - there's a corelation between RPM part throttle and WOT shifts - the car will shift at whatever point it reaches first, depending upon load, RPM vs MPH. Give it some time and see how it reacts to the tune. Play with the shift firmness/duration if you just want crisper shifts - my firmness is set much higher right now over and above what the predator will allow. www.ls1tech.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2652650 is a good read. If you have one of the new versions the gear change has been fixed, plus it'll do A LOT more than my early version (1.03) will do. Hope this helps...
