I think a local paint shop messed up my tranny

I had some damage to my car and i took it to a shop here locally to be repainted. They did a ****ty job the first 2 times, and i kept bringing it back untill i was satisfied. Well before the 3rd time i brought it in, the tranny seemed to be working great with no slop what-so-ever. When i got the car back, the reverse block out wasn't working (which we later found it was due to them getting water in the engine compartment and wetting my dakota digital box for my 4.11 gears) and it seems like the transmission was way sloppier then when i brought it to them. For example: Before i brought it to them, when the car was in gear, it would stay snug and would not come out of gear easily with the clutch out. I got it back from them, and it came out of gear with a slight push in all 6 gears. When in any gear, it seems like there is about an inch of play from front to back (while in gear) and about a half inch of play from side to side. Before it was snug in each gear with very little movement side to side or front to back. What is going on with my trans? I know im needing a new clutch soon, but what could cause the sloppyness?

thats kinda of a bitch since you cant really prove anything, but i would try and talk with the head guy and present your problem as calmly and proffessionally as possible and see where that gets you.. just a thought.
