Re: opinions

In order to remain unbiased, I think they both sound good with long tubes.

Re: opinions

The catback in use is far more important with regard to how a car sounds.

Assuming they both have the same catback, I'll vote for the LS1. The LT1 sounds meaner, the LS1 sounds smoother. It's all about preference.

Re: opinions

The ls1 has a more exotic note, the lt1 has more of a growl to it, Id have to say my favourite 4th gen exhaust is probably an ls1 with true dual 2 chamber flows off some long tubes but with just a basic Ypipe and catback, id say the lt1 sounds better.

Re: opinions

Can't decide, I've heard great sounding notes on both ends. There's this LS1 WS6 around here I see that sounds so amazing, but I never catch him outside of his car to ask what he's done.

Re: opinions

I think I'll say that I've heard more crappy sounding LS-1's than I have LT-1's. That's not to say I haven't heard great examples of each, but as far as things go, LT-1's have a better batting average.
