Cutout is goin in, but cant decide on cat.

So my cutout is gonna be gettin welded up in a few hours.

But im still undecided about the cat.

I have a stock catback, and I honestly can't decide what to do with the Cat.

The cutout is gonna be open 50% of the time, and i dont want the cat affecting the sound, but i also dont want it to sound like **** when its closed on the stock muffler.

Anyone got any input for now?

I would just leave the cat on there, if you take it off, it will add more popping and raspiness to your exhaust. Just leaving the cutout open on a stock manifold/ypipe exhaust will yield a very good sound.

mini cats for the future maybe? I just bought two to be put in my ORY pipe since my cutout will be replacing the location my cat is in. They are tiny and dont flow too bad at all
