I was looking into going back to FI and was wondering if a 6" rod would be ok for a 355 turbo? My motor is setup for NA currently and all I was going to do was swap out for a set of dished pistons and go back FI. I noticed that diamond makes an FI piston for use with a 6" rod so I guess its not unheard of.
Thank you for any help.

A longer rod will only get you into trouble with stroker motors. Obviously if you have 3.75 stroke and a 6in rod as opposed to 3.48 stroke thats .27" less in the thickness of the piston. It doesn't really work out that way but you get the idea.
The only problem you may have is if you wanted to run a -33cc piston or something similar. Not sure if they make those for a 6'' rod:shrug:

Yeah I know, I was just trying to explain to you why it shouldn't be a problem and where it might be:)
