Question "17"x"10" in the back "17"x"8.5" in the front, will 275s fit

Will these tires fit these wheels???
I might buy used Simmons F-series wheels off someone within the month. I was originally planning on ordering a set of four "17" X "9.5" all around but this guy could save me a little money and a lot of time by selling me his. The only thing that s*cks is that he has "17" X "10" in the back with 315s (Nittos) and "17" X "8.5" up front.

My question is......

Will BFGoodrich G-Force 275s fit on the back "17" X "10" wheels and on the front "17" X "8.5"??? Or am I stuck with 315s on the back and 245s up front? And will they fit good?

I heard that 315s will actually slow you down unless you have like a 10 second car. My car is basically stock so I don't need 315s.

Thanks.

275's will fit on the 17X8.5's, as they will fit on the 17X10, the only issue is they may look small on the rim.

I just put some 275's on a set of 18*9.5 vette wheels and it rubbed like hell. I had to get spacers and not even that worked. I still had a bit of rubbing on hard cornering so I got a hammer and a piece of sheet metal and just made indentions where it was rubbing, no problems since.

Hmm, for most 275 tires, a 9" rim is the minimum suggest rim width to mount on..

There are people with 315's that think even 11" rims are a tad too narrow to mount them optimally.

personally, I'd stick to 17x9.5's all around.. Less of a headache if you ever have to replace tires..

Keep in mind if you have two different tire sizes front and back, and if they are directional, you won't be able to rotate your tires at all!
