slayer6x6 08-21-2006, 09:20 PM Ill be in Ocean City this weekend.
1SlowFormula 08-23-2006, 03:49 PM I just found out about this, and kinda had other plans of putting my car back together this weekend, but shoot me an email with the details and I will check with the wife...
nodnarb481 08-23-2006, 04:02 PM email sent.. come on people wheres the interest that was here when i first asked about this a month ago...
a suggestion from a Pastreetracing member.. when you pull into the welcome center follow the signs to behind the building where there are a few parking lots. bear a right to the long rectangular ones. Illl be there with my friend and he will be in a jeep with the grille hopefully. From there we can caravan to a nice place.
nodnarb481 08-25-2006, 05:22 PM *update* I have no way of getting a grille over there at this point and i debate wether or not they would let me bring one into the park.. Anyways after our caravan to a nice parking lot.. sometime maybe we can caravan to some pizza place or everyone can just pick up food along the way if thier hungry.. i don know.. anyone can chime in here
97TransAm 08-25-2006, 05:40 PM 1) I'm hanging on the fence with the weather. The 97 TA doesn't care too much for rain and we're looking at 40% chance of thunderstorms. If I force the issue, the 97 TA will go out of its way to spin it's tires and fishtail just out of spite. Drives me nuts. So I'm playing the waiting game...
2) My choice would be to bring my own Wawa hoagie. Most park rules are that "fires permitted in park-supplied grills only." I just signed a contract for a pavillion at Peace Valley Park and that's one of the rules. Along with no alcohol, glass containers and pets must be on a leash. Glad the wife won't be coming because I hate wearing that collar....
nodnarb481 08-25-2006, 05:54 PM haha i agree on the weather issue.. i guess il just hope for the best
Hookerf14 08-25-2006, 07:37 PM Hooters is close, as is Champs with outdoor seating next to the cars. Just a couple of ideas.
myslowcamaro 08-25-2006, 07:45 PM the master of the universe has decided my fate ( wife) im not going
97TransAm 08-25-2006, 08:44 PM the master of the universe has decided my fate ( wife)
I know what you mean... but it's still funny.
nodnarb481 08-25-2006, 08:49 PM champs would be cool too i guess we can figure that out when were all at the meet already
nodnarb481 08-27-2006, 01:18 AM weather is in question for tomorrow so if you all want me to reschedule that is understandable. Ill be there from 1230-1 just incase and if no one shows up thats understandable as well
97TransAm 08-27-2006, 09:54 AM Yeah... it doesn't look for us and a f-body gathering. :(
It's spritzing up here near Doyelstown, the roads are wet and the rest of the day doesn't look much better. Some of the thunderstorms this afternoon are suppose to be heavy ones. So I'm going to keep the 97 TA parked and cozy inside the garage for the day.
Next weekend is Labor Day weekend. Maybe Sunday would be better for you? Your call...
nodnarb481 08-27-2006, 10:03 AM if everyone is up for a labor day meet then yep that still works for me. I dont want to put anyone out there if theres a heavy storm, there was a storm 2 nights ago here and it was just unbearable. One street near mine had 7 houses crushed by trees and the power lines are all on the ground... it was unbelievable and came out of no where
