Aluminum Rim Questions !

Howdy !!

I have a ' 99 SS w/ the argent ZR1 wheels.

I noticed the other day after a well deserved bath :D (lots of rain in Houston the past few weeks !) that there are little white looking "splotches" on the outside edge (the turned edge that would have factory wheel weights attached to it , but not necessarily where they were attached ).

I tried wheel cleaner to no avail, and tried waxing them with the same lack of effect. :(

It almost feels like something ate into the aluminum - is that possible ?? :confused:

Any tips or advice would be appreciated !! :bow:

try mothers aluminum mag and chrome polish
thats what i use to keep my 91 rs rims(also aluminum) shining and keeps brake dust and water spots off

can get it at any local parts store

comes in a white and red container
