need info on new purchase

An aquaintance of mine just purchased a 91 camaro from someone. Neither of them are really all that sure of what they have. The engine is a 305. One side says z28 on the ground effects, the other says RS. The owner said it was probably a z28 and said that you could tell by the hood.

Anyone know what to look for that would specifically point to what this is? Would the Z have been a 305 or did they use 350 TPI? I don't know much about it, but at least I know where to come for the answers. :)

Look at the RPO code on the sticker inside the glovebox.
RS's have the 305 tbi (throttle bodyy injection) and z28s have the tpi (tuned port injection, if it has runners on the sides then its most likely a z28, if it looks like it has a big carburator on the top then its most likely an rs.
Also, look at the tail lights, z28s and iroc's have the grid pattern that split the tail light into six little sections or more.. (i cant remember the exact ammount)
