Anyone in the Peoria Area?

I just moved to Peoria and will be here likely for another year or so.

Anyone from the Peoria, IL area? Post up and maybe we can get together sometime.

Quad City Area here, about 45 mins from Peoria.

Im about an hour south of ya..Id like to see that car :) Be nice to meet another quick LT1, there isnt a lot of them in that town. Lots of Mustangs though, Pekin, IL also.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have the car in hopefully another few weeks. It's in Detroit area having some work done to it and then it'll need a tune. After that's done I'll be driving it down. Nothing like a 7 hour drive to iron the bugs out of a new setup, right? :D

We'll have to schedule a meet-up some time for sure. Hell, I'd meet up before I get the car back if anyone's interested. It would be nice to meet some people around here that are into F-cars and such.

There is a pretty good cruise inn at the Kay's store in Bloomington at 1401 N Veterans Pkwy every month they usally draw around 250-300 cars.......the next one is on July 8th they start around 4pm....... and welcome to the area if you need a hand with anything just let me know.

I was born and raised in pekin, I moved to southern indiana 3 years ago, I live half an hour north of evansville,and about an hour and a half south of terra haute,its about a 3 and a half hour drive from pekin

I was born down there your way. In Carmi, ILL. Got relatives all over down there, Mt. Carmel, Keensburg, Grayville, Olney, Crossville, a fishing and hunting cabin on the wabash. I was just there for a family reunion June 10. Come on up for a visit friend. Darrell

We were there 2 years ago, and had a blast. Over 900 cars, and a lot of "specialty" cars. We got there about 4:30, and were surprised at the number of cars already parked. We'll probably get there earlier this year. They estimated 30,000 people showed up that night.

Hey I live in Champaign and can make it in about an hour and a half to get to Peoria up I-74. I will have to try and get out there and see some of your guys stellar sounding rides! There are a couple of Z28s in town here too I could probably rally. Hope to see your guys cars soon!

Does anyone in the area have a stock mass air that I could either borrow or buy cheap? Mine is on the fritz.
