Lastnight at like 3 AM i was cruising down to a friends house. And then i see this car come flying up on my *** and go flying by me. It was a El Camino with dual side exhaust and was Loud as hell (deff had some serious motor work done) so he slows down then i floor my car and go flying by him. Then as i slow down he creeps up and gets next to me and looks at me and counts to 3. At 3 we both take off and i instantly pull like 3 cars on him. (we started at a 40 roll)...I let off at 90 with half a car length lead on him (he caught up but at 90 i was starting to oull him again). After the race he pulls up next to me and goes "that things nasty, Have you dynoed it? im like no i havent gotten to a dyno yet...then hes like well i had my dyno'ed last week and im at 480 HP to the wheels. (So i was like holy **** i didnt really know my car had this type of potential)...then he proceeds to tell me that not very many cars have ever beat him and that I was the best race hes ever had. What really made him confused was after he complemented me on my car and said i was the bext race hes ever had, I told him my car was only a V6...then he took off

 

then you woke up right. (You said this happened around 3 AM so that makes sense, thats when most people dream at night )

sorry bro but there is NO WAY that a turboed 6 camaro is going to beat an el camino with 480 rwhp especially since ur an A4 ...either the kid just had exhaust and was joking with you or he was running on 5 cylinders =p

 

Um arent grand nationals turbo'd 3.8 v6s with a4s???? Ive seen plenty of them with way more than 500+ rwhp.

To the thread starter...you should post some more of your mods that way ppl dont think your just making stuff up and have no clue what your talking about.

 

And an El Camino isnt THAT light.

on camarov6.com and fullthrottlev6.com theres a member whose under Viper. Hes making 456 RWHP and 509 RWTQ on his v6...runs 12 flat with a trap speed to be in the 11's....sooo having a fast v6 isnt unlikly....look around...there ARE v6 cars that will run down v8's

from a dead stop im not stupid. This car would murder me. However from a 40 roll and with my 3.73's and soon as i floor it, i down shift and am already at full boost. There was NO lag time from 40-90 and if there was any lag time, even a little bit, he would have won

 

High horsepower 4 cylinders are not unlikely ither, they just cost much more money, which I think making a powerhouse 4 banger is a waste of money.

 

my buddy just built a turbo 98 integra....ran 12.8 at 114 on 15 PSi.....

 

Weighing about 1000 pounds less...

 

Not bad, surprised you pulled on him up top. My 87' Turbo Regal went 12.9 on 22 pounds, 110 octane, M/T stickies & a few bolt-ons.

Thats like a 4 second race, and thats being generous. Your car is manual and his obviously sounds automatic.
