Wilwood Calipers + Aftermarket Wheels = Teh Suck!!!
Wilwood Calipers + Aftermarket Wheels = Teh Suck!!!
Well I got my Speedy Envy wheels and they dont fit over the Wilwood brake kit I have up front. The rear wheels fit fine. So right now I have two options...
I need about a .25" spacer for the wheels to clear the Wilwood caliper. I would also need longer lug studs. The wheels are already a 38mm offset, and the spacer will push them out even farther. For the spacers and ARP studs im looking at another $60-70.
My second option is to just put my stock brakes back on, and sell the Wilwoods on ebay.
What would you guys do???

If the wheels are going to stick out past the fender with the spacer then i would put the stockers back on. If they dont stick out then keep the wilwood setup.

I agree....It also depends on if you want to put another $74 into it.

I think im just going to put the stock brake setup back on for now. I may end up going with the C5 setup. There should still be plenty of room with the C5 brakes. Its just that the overhang on the Wilwood calilpers is ridiculous.
I tried the 56mm offset C6 wheels before and they didnt fit, but I thought I would be ok with a 38mm offset. But I guess not...
