Fender is hitting the door, not the fender tab?

On my drivers side door, the peice of door guard on the door and fender touch each other when I open the door. It makes a loud pop sound and I can see the fender actually move a little due to the pop. It's not the fender tab because I just had it checked out the other day [my passenger side one was a little bent but wasn't making the fender/door pop, and I just banged the tab back in place]. So how can I go about fixing this? I'm thinking of just taking it to the bodyshop and let them fix it.

I had a similar problem on my Grand Prix, and it turned out that the fender was a little too close to the door and had to be moved forward a little.

Mine was just doing the same thing this last week, I loosened all the top bolts and opend the door and had my wife pull hard on the fender and i tightened up the bolts. Cleared just enough.
