Question Potentially stupid question

Can I use a blazer steering column in place of an f-body column in a 91 RS? Are there any other GM models (other than Firebird, TA, etc.) that I could swap from? I need a column with SIR, VATS, and tilt. From my research there aren't many junk camaros around my area that will work for this.

I know that some of the parts a universal between GM vehicals, but I dont know about this.

Thanks for any ideas.

Re: Potentially stupid question

Main thing GM changes between different models is the length and the connection to the steering joint in the engine compartment. As long as those are the same, you should be OK. The panel at the floor will be different, but that can be removed with a bit of work.

If it would work. I've got a column from a 94 Z I could sell ya for cheap.

I think the connection to the box is different in the 94. It would be more work than I am up to right now, but thanks for the offer.
