Ok... I'm *FLUSHING* my heater core this weekend.

I think I will use Asainsinsations method.

First question:
These are the locations of the hoses i should remove, right?

Now one of those can I hold over the radiator and open the bottom of the radiator? Then have a friend slowly pump water into the other one? or should I pull the other hose down past the opti and hold it over a drain on the bottom of the car? is that all there is to it?

Thanks.

Also I need 7 quarts of Coolant, 7 Quarts of water, and 1.5 Quart of 50-50 right?

Why do you need to bleed the heater core? Use the bleeder screws to remove air from the system.

Well I can't help you on the flush since I did mine right at the firewall, but 7 quarts of water/7 of coolant, plus the 1.5 of 50/50, will still end up being the same. You could just put 7.75 coolant + 7.75 water and get the same thing. The back of the bottle should have a diagram of what the best mixture is.

Just follow both hoses from the firewall to the water pump and remove them. Put a garden hose to one side and put the other end in a bucket. Then reverse hoses, to flush it the other way. When your satisfied it is flushed good, put the hoses back on. Fill the radiator back up and bleed the air out.
