Anyone live near Jacksoon, Tn.?

If any of yall live near Jackson, Tn. let me know. I'd like to get some localguys together for a little grudgee racing..Let me know.

I just moved from there after being there for 5 yrs. Good luck at their silly azz excuse for a track. You'll find that you could get better traction on the street.
Test and Tune is the worst. Everyone and their grandma goes out their with their 4x4 trucks to race. By doing this, they drive through the water box and drag water all over the starting line. No one is present to mop up the mess either. I hated that track! :mad:

Come down to MMP for Test N Tune. Its on Thursday nights and starting in April, its Tuesdays and Thursday nights, and a couple times a year they have a "midnight madness" on Friday nights.

I know exactly what you mean. I worked there for a couple of years. They will let ppl get away with murder, and you never know what kind of "junk" will be running next to you. I raced there up until last year and only made like 2 or 3 passes down the track. You know there is a problem when you can't hook a car that runs 8.50's through the 1/8 on a set of M/T Drag Radials.

Sounds like a plan. I didn't know when they were going to open up. I actually live about 1 1/2 hrs from there but would rather drive there than go to our local junk track. I will let ya know when I will be there. I would like to get together with some ppl from this board. Also, sorry for the double post, this site seems to be slow tonight for some reason.:confused:

Opening day was actually this past Saturday. I think they are starting their regular schedule of Thursday TnTs soon (this week).

About 3 or 4 years ago I used to race the street car events at Jackson in my mustang. The track was kept in good condition for those events, but was never consistent. Memphis TnT is where its at, I have to agree there. About an hour or so for me as well, but well worth it.
