Powdercoated Intake pics please.

Im thinking about powdercoating my intake on my Z. Anyone have any pics of color powder coating besides the orange LT4 looking ones?

If you are meaning the process...they put a electric charge on the part and put the powder on it. Then they bake it in a oven. That is a simple overview of what happens.

I am considering having a custom powdercoating job done for my intake in my Silver Z. I thought about dark grey for the main coat and then having silver veins all over it.

luckyou: that last picture you posted... I thought that CAI couldnt be done due to the fact that we have other sensors that are needed.

If you look closely, that is a 93 lt1 motor. Speed density. You dont need a maf, but you do need a air temp sensor and that one is easy to slip in somewhere.

Ahh. Man, I wish I had a 93 just for the simple reason of the clean looking engine bay. That motor looks sweet.
