thanks

I don't think an sts will produce enough cfm to make any real boost on an LE3 setup. I'd go with LE3 setup over sts anyday and it would be cheaper too. D1SC, LE3 with blower cam would be optimal but it would put you well over your horsepower goal and money limit:cool:

I just think sts is overpriced and will not allow you to grow later on. You'll be wanting more boost down the road.

I haven't dyno'd yet. I've done a street tune with tunercat and the wideband commander. Just found out my 30# injectors at 80psi fuel pressure are maxing out at 5600 rpm. Once I get my 60# mototrons I'll take it to the dyno. Then I can run the rpm as high as my cam will allow.:D

Do some research on ls1tech before you think there is no room. T67, T70, T76...many people have had sucess. All those turbos will make 600+rwhp depending on the heads/cam setup. Front mount is better, but sts can make power can get the car moving.

I checked LS1Tech and your right about "room to grow." One guy made 14 psi with a T76.
It does however have alot of lag(especially with a custom T76 setup). Also its a lot of money to hang off the bottom of your car. I think a twin turbo front mount would be a better solution if you want a turbo. BTW I got this picture from over at LS1Tech. Its just a joke so don't flame me too bad.:D

It was funny. No worries.
Guys can make 600rwhp with the T67. Lag isnt an issue there. The T70 has made 700rwhp in a local ls1 fbody that I have actually taken a ride in. The T76 will make even more power, but spool time would be a serious problem.
