Fastest 4th Gen Stock Style Suspension

I was just wondering who has the fastest stock style suspension car in the country.

Fuel injected or not. Doesn't have to be a small block either.

Only thing is has to be stock style suspension. No relocated brackets, no coil over shocks in rear.

Thanks

I don't know for sure but i would take a look at Dan Panoli (not sure if i spelled it correct) from the nsca racing series. Ran a hemi in a camaro with stock style suspension now going to a mustang... But he was in the 8's just dont know how deep... I know he was in the low 9's on drag radials

But i would take a look at him the other serious f body's generally go to a better suspension platform though.

ARE's LS1 SS ran a 8.92 @ 154 last weekend with stock type suspension, they say its a record for stock type suspension for an 4th gen F-Body car

I didnt know Paolini (i think that is how it is spelled) put a hemi in a camaro!! Thats awesome!

There are some heavy hitters at the Thunder Racing shootout in Louisiana this weekend too and if cars live up to expectations, there should be some even faster ET's set this weekend.

ARE went the fastest for a stock block... Slap a aftermarket motor in there and i am sure there can be alot more power pounded out... I know the 8.97 is one outstanding accomplishment with what they are using (off the shelf BMR stuff from what i hear)

the fastest car i know of with a Torque Arm was Ken Barnaby's mid 80's Camaro out of the Neverlift Motorsports shop.
If i remember right,they went 8.2x and cut some 1.2x 60's.
