my car have posi?scott5 01-27-2006, 01:07 PM Did the 94 camaros come with posi? MyShibbyZ28 01-27-2006, 01:15 PM All 4th gen LT1/LS1 camaros and firebirds came with posi-traction. If you want to double check it look for G80 on the RPO sticker. The sticker is in your glove box. G92 means you have the optioned gears, but that is only for automatics. GU2, and GU5 are for autos. GU6 is for a manual. GU2: 2.73 gears GU5: 3.23 gears GU6: 3.42 gears G92: performance option (3.23 gears for autos) G80: posi EDIT: If you want to triple check it do a burnout. rngilliland 01-27-2006, 01:33 PM All V8 4th gen have posi. V6 cars as far as I know only had it as an option in some years up to 97. Don't know about the later model V6 cars. If your 94 is an LT1 it came with posi. scott5 01-27-2006, 01:42 PM Yea its a 94 Z28 auto flatlander757 01-27-2006, 02:14 PM Well in 94, if you have a "1" on the gear selector, you have 3.23s, if not, then you have 2.73s. And yes it should have posi. RE AND CHERYL 01-27-2006, 03:30 PM Just because GM built it with a posi, dosn't mean it's still doing it's job. The one in my 94 was wasted at 115k. The new rear I installed with an Aburn has made the car a blast to drive agian. | ||
