Heads off for 1 month of more... how to protecth internals from rust etc...

Heads off for 1 month of more... how to protect internals from rust etc...
I sent my heads off to be ported and will get them back in probably a month. What steps should i take to prevent rust or any other possible issues?

Oil, cloth, blankets/towels. Make sure it has plenty of oil in the rags and towels too. I would tape the rags down to the sides so little critters couldn't get in.

Coat the cylinders in some Marvel Mystery and then cover it up with some saran or bubble wrap, or a sheet or something.

I ended up hitting all cylinders with some wd40, then wiping them all down with motor oil, then taping them off with trash bags.
