bmr trak pak vs. spohn torque arm
bmr trak pak vs. spohn torque arm
which would be a better torque arm? they both mount into a similar place, but it seems like the trak pak has a much stronger mounting point as it ties in the subframe connectors. What do you guys think? Also, I have a question aobout Eibach drag launch springs. How do they ride on the street? this is for my daily driver, but i'd also like to maximize traction at the strip at the same time. thanks guys.
I have the track pak on my car and absolutely love it. BMR builds some super high quality components, and they are the only suspension parts I run.

I have a Spohn adjustable T/A and love it.
Technically, mine ties into the subframe connectors as well. I have SLP connectors, which are a diamond style (basically, a more beefy version of the Kenny Brown double diamonds). So the subframe connectors weld to the mounting pads of the factory crossmember mounts. Just had to buy slightly longer bolts to bolt in the Spohn crossmember.
I've installed a Spohn T/A with just regular subframes on another car, and it still seemed pretty soild on the factory crossmember points. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with mounting it here, even without reinforcements like my setup has.
My reasoning for getting the Spohn unit was because it was a lot cheaper, and you don't have to do any welding to install it. It is very well built, easy to adjust, and overall a really nice unit.

I have the "current" Spohn design, and before that had the Spohn with the slider, and no problems with the mount only on the factory mounting pads. Not a lot of experience at the 800HP level yet, but no problems.
I know Steve Spohn is building an arm for George Baxter's 30th SS convert, for his assault on mid 8's with huge gobs of HP.....

BMR is awesome. I have a BMR extreme torque arm along with everything else underneath and I am completely satisfied with the product. Brett is awesome, his customer service is excellent and he stands behind his product totally.
