Power Window Gone

For about the last 6 months my driver side power window was getting weaker and weaker on my 00' Z28, until yesterday when it went completely dead. Is the only possible problem the window motor, which I'm assuming yes, however just wanted to make sure before I bought all the parts and ripped the door apart.

I found a site that sells this part, is this everything that I will need

Re: Power Window Gone

go to autozone and get one with a lifetime warranty. Probably $60 or so, DONT buy one online, because it will break again and Im sure its not easy to exchange. Goto shoebox's website and look at the install guide, its a 30 min job.

Also, this should be in general tech, not car audio (moving to proper forum)

Re: Power Window Gone

just a suggestion though, I would replace both. Usually, when one goes, the other one is that that far away. I had to repalce both of mine

Really depends on your habits. I tend to use the driver side alot more and never did replace my pass side. Replaced driver over 1 year ago and pass still going strong.
