Adding a little bass to the Camaro with a MTX Thunderform box and 10"sub that goes in the rear drivers side area, but I need to find a good place to mount this amp (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-13frHAkqGE8/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&I=489AP600).The amp is 10.5" x 10.5" x 2" and I would like to try and keep it hidden under a interior panel... Was thinking maybe behind the drivers side rear plastic panel in the trunk or under the plastic panel beside the spare tire if I put in some brackets... Throw out some suggestions

Take a look at LS1 RULZ pics.

He has a nice mounting setup against the back of his ttop storage that didn't interfere. Didn't look to see if the plans for his stuff was still there or not.
You really just need to mount something solid behind the carpet to mount to and find a good way to secure it.

Ive also been looking for a spot to put the amp... i'm using one of those stealth boxes on the driver's side. I'm desperately trying to not use up any of the hatch space, and I don't want it to interfere with the t-tops. I like the idea that LS1 RULZ had, but im just curious as to how he fabricated that flat surface to mount the amps and cd changer to. Great idea.

Also, where is a good ground in the trunk area, I found one near the rear latch, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a better location for one (shorter distance) cause I think I'm gonna go with installing the amp in the spare tire area with some brackets. I guess I could just drill anywhere in the back hatch area since it's all metal and make a nice ground with a good size nut/bolt...

Click my sig. Everything you need to know about the rack should be there. A Camaro will be a bit different though. You might want to look into what Steve has to offer at SubThump (http://www.subthump.com) for a Camaro. His racks are based on my design. I'm not sure what kind of changes he had to make so that it would work in a Camaro though.
