Question Car in the body shop! Paint/wax tips after getting it back.

Yes, finally after two years of gradually gathering dings, minor dents and one major dent I've finally sent my car to the body shop and will have EVER ding and dent removed. Damn, About %50 of my car is being repainted in the process so I should have a pretty slick ride when I get it back.

Now, I know I shouldn't wash or wax the car for two months. I'm planning on simply garaging it for those two months and keeping it out of sunlight and then giving it one major Zaino car wash.

Is it a good idea to put a car cover on while the new paint "breaths"? Would it be okay to wax the whole car after only two months?

Depending on your body shop and if they are clear coating the car it would be safe to use Zaino after a few weeks, I would wait 90 days if you use a carnauba product.

You could have done paintless dent removal. The rule is 90 days before waxing from what I've been told.

You'd have to see the dents I have to see it's more than any paintless dent repair guy could handle!
