NHRA OR IHRA Rules?? which to follow?

I am not certain which rule book I should follow. I don't want to order both. I heard they were different in terms of times and safety and what not anyhow. The track I go to, Pittsburgh Raceway park, is IHRA. I just ordered a Wolfe 6 pnt roll bar and want to get the a book to follow for the install. So, which is it? Thanks

I personally would go with the stricter one, which IIRC, is NHRA(about a 1/2 sec diff on requirements)

Um, go with the one your track uses... No point in adhering to NHRA rules if you won't go anywhere that they're required...

The regs for both NH and IHRA for the 6-point per se are essentially the same. Under either regs, with a 6-point and a helmet, DS loop if you use race tires, you will be good until you get a LOT more mods. Get an IHRA book if that's your home track.

thanks for the imput guys. I'm not too far away from a NHRA Track, but I regularly go to the IH one. I plan on running mid to low 11's when I'm done with the car. I'm just starting on the interior. Go fast mods will be after the suspension is all done. Kind of doing it in a step by step kinda way. Thanks again.
