C5 brake line and banjo bolt questions.
I'm going to do the C5 front brake swap tomorrow.
I'm using the #10333772 brake hoses. I have NO idea how they go on the caliper, as they have an indented section on one side.
I've never installed brand new banjo bolts (#22163795)either and am confused on how the hole on the side of the bolt aligns to the brake line. I do have the copper washers that go with the bolts. Any help would be great.

Re: C5 brake line and banjo bolt questions.
The washers go on both sides of the bolt. One under the head, then the bolt goes through the brake line and another goes under the brake line.
The line is installed with the square end facing down toward the ground. The line them loops up and over to the hard line.
Be careful with the hard lines, they strip easily and you need and ISO bubble flare tool to repair them.
Good Luck

Re: C5 brake line and banjo bolt questions.
When I installed mine I unbolted the tab that bolts to the frame. I cut the hole the brake line off the tab that came with the hose and welded it on the tab I unbolted from the frame. Be careful when you weld everything back together you don't want the hose to be twisted. When running stainless steel lines I had trouble finding someone that would sell me the back half for an F-body and the front half for the Corvette. I sent my old hoses to Bonoco and they made everything I needed.
Re: C5 brake line and banjo bolt questions.
When I did mine I did not do any type of welding. I did have to file the bracket where the C5 brake line attaches to the hard line. But other then that it was pretty straight forward. Also make sure your bleeder is facing UP. You will love the setup. Stopping becomes an actual enjoyment instead of a panic on whether or not you are gonna stop...
HEYYY I did this 2 weekends ago, and it's been all good, except with 2 bleedings, I'm not real happy cuz the pedal still feels squishy. I did Dremel the bracket and made the lines fit.
questions:
What are you guys using as a spare? Will a 98+ spare work?
Is there any break in method, like "rotor seasoning"?

Re: C5 brake line and banjo bolt questions.
My brakes felt phenomenol. I love the way it stops. Heck if I could afford to do some massive brake setup that would let allow my eyeballs to be sucked out of their sockets I would. haha...
I did season the rotors and bed the pads. I did stops from 30mph to 10 mph. Then did several 70 mph to 10 mph then drove around to allow them to cool. Then did a very hard 70- 0 stop, and then let them cool one last time and then parked the car. I have been extremely happy with the setup.
