need help asap

i am trying to install the slp air lid on my car and i have one question. How do you get the the piece where the IAT sensor plugs into out of the stock part so i can put it in the slp lid. I cant figure this out and the instructions tell me nothing except to take it out.
Thanks

Carefully pull it out. tip it up and down a little while pulling it out of the grommet. With a little pulling and wiggling, it should come out. The pull the grommet out. Install, put the grommet in the new lid and push the IAT sensor in. Easy.

well thanks for the reply but that does not seem to be working. Me and three of my friends are sitting here wiggling the hell out of it and its not budging. The problem being the rubber stuck under each side of of the sensor. I am thinking about cutting the plastic as a last resort. How much does a new sensor cost?

Not exactly "EASY" but thats correct. Remove the sensor then manipulate the grommet to get it out, twisting and turning while pulling. Be gentle, many have been damaged upon removal.
