can i replace my flowmaster muffler only?

i currently have a flowmaster american thunder cat back and i am sick of the sound of it. i would like to replace the muffler only if possible. i would like to get either a hooker or spintech replacement muffler. does anyone make a muffler or do i need to buy a whole new catback??

You can just the muffler and have an exhaust shop weld it on. The exhaust manufacturer's website should have the muffler part numbers listed. Just make sure you get a muffler wiht a 3 inch inlet.

is it a crossflow style muffler or the traditional style? What you can probably do is take some measurments and match them up with something compatible.

yeah its the crossflow style that comes with the american thunder catback.
