Also, if you want better stopping, make sure you have decent tires too. Joe 1320 11-08-2005, 05:54 PM Get ceramic if you don't care about stopping faster but want no dust, . Haha.... I hated my Ceramic pads. They were terrible until you build up a decent amount of heat. In the rain, they wouldn't bite at all....... It made me really nervous as the stopping power just wasn't there. I replaced them after about 3K miles with a more traditional Carbon Metallic. NOSCaMaRo 11-08-2005, 11:12 PM I have had great luck with the Hawk HPS pads, good all around Pad. fb305svs 11-11-2005, 03:06 PM brake pads should really be chosen based on the temp range you expect to experiance... ceramic pads are usually what someone would use for a higher temp range, ie road course driving... Stick with some sort of a carbon or metallic pad - the HPS are a pretty decent pad from the people i have talked to :) RE AND CHERYL 11-11-2005, 05:17 PM I run Hawk HPS pads, wash my car once a week, and never see brake dust on the wheels.
