Nashville suburb gets new NISSAN N.A. headquarters
Right in my back yard. The Cool Springs area of Williamson county is about 6 miles from my house.

This could be good for my house value

Nissan was part of the automotive alley on the I405 corridor south of LA (still one of the best kept automotive secrets).
I hope this isn't the start of a mass-exodus. Every automaker in the US and Pacific is on that streach except GM (North Hollywood). There are also a phalynx of custom shops, aftermarket tuners, and at least 1 private concept car plant.

I'm personally excited to be living in an economic hotbed area. Housing construction is hot, population growth is hot...low cost of living and quality of life are driving most of it. Cheap land, relatively cheap labor and central location don't hurt either though.
So far we've got Nissan's major manufacuring facility, the Saturn GM facility, a big Ford glass plant, Ford Motor Credit (Primus), the Peterbuilt plant, the Vette plant & museum is only ~1 hour north, etc., and now the Nissan HQ.
I would expect several suppliers/vendors/contractors to follow them here too.
Now if we can just land production of the 5th gen at the Saturn plant, I'll be in heaven!
