Can we have a conversation that doesn't get locked?

Please? The flames stopped in the avatar thread, I backed out, I let stubbs do his thing, because he can actual get across what I think without losing his temper. but it got locked because he was making too many points?

All you seem to want to do is rip us down. We don't care for that and for what little effort you think we put into this site, we don't deserve it. What you (and others) claimed is pure assumption but state it as fact, and that is wrong. You don't really know what you are talking about. Don't think for a second that we should kiss the feet of the people that use our own boots to kick us in the balls.

We don't need to respond delicately to people telling us nothing but what we do wrong because there is no benefit to anyone that way. We have always been open to people with reasonable and helpful suggestions of what we can do right. The members that provide that are the ones that made this site what it is and they do it with class and respect. You don't provide any of that and you and others should expect the same result when you go about things the same way every time.

In short, we don't care what you think because what you say about us is clearly not designed to make things better, it is only to degrade us. It won't fly here and no one with an ounce of common decency will expect us to allow it.

If not, don't expect us to start paying attention to you or giving you the respect that we would give back to members who want to make things better. I honestly cannot figure out why you come here if you don't like it. It just makes no sense. There is no such thing as a site that is perfect for everyone, and this site is clearly not for you.
