DMS springs + new stock shocks...

I recently installed new DMS springs and some take off shocks from SLP that I had laying around. I noticed the front end floats just a little when going over dips and such. I thought lowering springs would have been pretty stiff.

So with that said, is it the shocks that suck? Or, do I need a bigger sway bar or something? I really don't have the money right now for bilsteins, so thats not an option at the moment. I have been thinking about getting a 1le swaybar anyways since its so affordable. It still needs an alignment, the wheels are tilted in a pretty good bit (caster/camber, whatever its called). I'm not really looking for anything too fancy since I drive this car only 9 miles to work on the highway and 9 miles back. Otherwise it stays parked.

The stock DeCarbons are barely adequate for the stock springs, let alone lowering springs. Definitely start saving up for shocks, a bigger sway bar won't help with the floating feeling you get.

You have 2 options.
1. Koni's
2. Revlaved blisteins

These are pretty much the only two option I would say for lowering springs. Don't get a bar until you got some shocks for them springs. Most peaple buy springs thinking there the best, but a lot of times they can make it worse....

Due to the progressive nature of the DMS springs, I seriously doubt that you would be able to get to the adjuster on a Koni. There won't be enough space between the spring windings.

It's possible I may be wrong though, since I've never actually seen a DMS spring in person.

Call Sam. He'll take care of you.

No, you can use a Koni with those springs... The deal coils (or close ones) are on the bottom of those, not on the top like LT1 Pro-kits, and it's that positioning that causes the issue.

While DMS's wouldn't be my spring choice, Koni's will fit and be adjustable with them

Ah.

Very well then...

Like I said, call Sam. Don't listen to idiots like me. :D

This is why a phone call to Sam is a much better source of info than an internet mesage board.

Also that would be dead coils also known as tender coils.
