Parking brake and ashtray lid rattling

At around 2000-3000rpm, my parking brake handle and ashtray lid rattle badly from my exhaust. I tried some sound dampening on the ashtray lid, but the problem seems to be the plastic hinge. As for the parking brake handle, mainly the release button is rattling. Has anyone tried anything to reduce similar vibrations?

Thanks for the reply. In my case, I know the trans mount is good, because the trans just got serviced. Seems like the exhaust tone is hitting the resonant frequency of the interior.

I've got the same rattle, and it drives me nuts.

I've been thinking about pulling the parking brake handle apart to try to dampen the release button with some weatherstripping or something. Has anyone else tried this?

When mine starts rattling I just push the button in and it stops for a while. I think my suspension makes it rattle worse then the exhaust.
