LS1 shops in North Carolina near Boone.

Looks like my fute will take me to Boone, and I'll be there for a while. In preparation, I'm trying to see what the state of NC has to offer automotively.

I found this shop,

It's only 70 miles from Boone and they have a dynojet chassis dyno. Maybe there are others, and maybe some are even closer.

Anyone live around this area?

I grew up in Mountain City, Tn, about 20 minutes north of Boone. I don't know of ANY shops around there. I'm sure there will be a shop somewhere in the Hickory area though. Drop me a line when you get into Boone. Good luck.

EDIT: If you will be there in the winter, I hope you LOVE snow. You will be seeing TONS of it.
