Any kind of car wash will work. I like Meguiars gold class, but anything that you can get to give good sudds will work. The key to no scratches is keeping the mit clean. BTW you want a real sheep skin mitt. You want to rinse the mit every time before you put it back into the soap bucket (either use another bucket filled with water or rinse it with the hose). From there you wanna dry the car with the least amount of touching, so if its cool, like in the morning or night, then drive it for a minute then dry the rest. That is all you should do for the first month. If you want you can polish your car during the first month, but no wax or sealant. After that month, you can clay, polish, seal and wax. There is no best wax, the finished product is all in the process (the stuff before wax). You wanna wash, then clay, then polish, then seal (optional), then wax. As far as good waxes, there are many, tipically you want a carnuaba for apperance and protection. Mother's pure carnuaba wax is good and my personal favorite, which is kinda expensive is P21s ($32) http://www.autogeek.net/p2concarwax.html
Hope all that helps.

You can get a good microfiber drying towel (waffle weave) from http://www.prestostore.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?ref=exceldetail&ct=29280 but there are many others out there. (two should be enough to dry your car) You can find a sheep skin mit at a auto parts store, cosco, wal mart, etc.
